.History of Nevada Mobile Home Financing
This company had it's beginnings in Reno, Nevada in 1988. Chuck Klason, the company founder, knew there was a financing void for manufactured housing in Northern Nevada. He began by making installment loans for the purchase of mobile homes. Most of these homes were situated on rented land or placed in mobile home parks.
At the same time Chuck incorporated Nevada
Home Financing, a mortgage company dedicated to manufactured
home and land financing. The manufactured housing business has changed significantly since that time. Now the
structures are all 'Manufactured Homes' and the construction often exceeds the standards of conventional homes. More
manufactured homes are being sold for placement on land and are being converted to real property, however, there are many people who want the security and comfort that comes from living in a Manufactured Home Community. Also, there are a number of people that want their home placed on their own or rented land but do not want to pay
increased taxes by converting to real property. This is the segment of home buyers we serve. We also offer refinance programs for existing homes and financing
for re-sales, both in-park or on rented land.
